Periodic Electrical Testing
A periodic test and inspection known as an E.I.C.R. (“Electrical Installation Condition Report”) is essentially the testing of the electrical systems and services that conduct electricity around the building. For most commercial and educational premises the recommended time frame between tests is 5 years.

EICR - Electrical Installation Condition Report for Landlords
This report is a mandatory requirement for any landlord letting through any Housing Association or council. We highly recommend that landlords who have not had their electrical equipment tested within the last five years, to have one carried out.
Statistics have shown that around 35 deaths and 4,200 accidents recorded annually in the UK involve electricity.
From July 2020 it became a legal requirement that the test is conducted BEFORE the start of any new let.
Landlord Electrical Safety Certificate Surrey
Landlord Electrical safety certificate is an Electrical Installation Condition Report which involves an inspection of all electrical circuits, sockets, lights, fuse board and earth bonding to water and gas services. Specialist test meter (Megger Multifunction Tester) is used and the inspection normally takes between an hour to half a day depending on the number of electrical circuits and type of property.
